Privacy policy

Who is responsible

This website belongs to Sebary Sara Contracting & Investment Properties Limited, with its head office at Villa B2, Slava City, Erbil, Iraq. For any question about this policy or your information, write to us at info@sebarysara.com.

In short

• We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
• The contact form sends the details you type to our inbox, and we use them only to reply to you.
• Your browser keeps a few small notes for this site, such as your language choice and a draft of a message you have not sent. The site never sends these notes to us or to anyone else.
• Google Maps loads only after you choose to open the map.
• Our fonts and videos come from this website itself.

The contact form

When you send the contact form, this website’s own server delivers your message by email to info@sebarysara.com. The email carries what you typed into the form:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number, if you choose to give one
• Your company, if you choose to give one
• Your message

It also shows which language version of the contact page you used and when the message was sent.

To stop the form from being flooded with automated messages, the server keeps a short record of how many messages have come from each IP address in the last ten minutes. The record is filed under a hashed form of your IP address, not the address itself, and records more than a day old are cleared from time to time.

How we use and keep your message

We use these details for one purpose: to read your message and reply to you. We do not add you to mailing lists or use your details for marketing. We keep a message only for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry.

Notes kept in your browser

To make the site easier to use, it keeps up to three small notes in your browser’s storage:

• Your language choice, so the site opens in English or Arabic as you last chose.
• A note that the opening animation on the home page has already played, so it does not play again each time you return there during your visit.
• A draft of what you type into the contact form, so your words are not lost if you reload the page or open another page in the same tab. After you send a message, the draft keeps only your name, contact details and company, ready for another message.

These notes stay on your device, and the site never sends them to us or to anyone else. The animation note and the draft are deleted when you close the browser tab.

You can remove the notes at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. The site will still work; it will simply forget your language choice and any unsent draft.

Maps

The contact and construction pages can show locations on a Google map. The map does not load with the page. Nothing is requested from Google until you choose to open it.

Once you open the map, your browser connects to Google, and Google’s own privacy policy applies to that connection. If you prefer not to connect to Google, simply leave the map closed.

Fonts and videos

The fonts and videos on this site are served from the site itself. Viewing a page or playing a video does not contact an outside font or video service.

Server records

This website runs on a server managed by our hosting provider. Like most web servers, it may keep technical details of each request in its logs, such as your IP address, your browser type, the page you asked for and the time. We do not use these records for analytics or advertising.

Seeing or deleting your messages

You can ask to see the messages you have sent us through the contact form, or ask us to delete them. Write to info@sebarysara.com from the email address you used, and tell us which messages you mean.

Changes to this policy

If the way this website handles information changes, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
