Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to read about Sebary Sara and reach us, whatever device, language or assistive technology they use. This statement explains what we have done to make that possible, where the site still falls short, and how to tell us about a problem.

Our commitment

This website is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That aim applies equally to the English and Arabic versions of every page.

Every page exists in both languages, and the language switch takes you to the same page in the other language rather than back to the home page.

What the site does to help

  • You can reach every link, button, menu and form field with the keyboard alone, and a clear focus outline shows where you are.
  • A skip link at the top of each page lets keyboard and screen reader users jump straight past the navigation to the main content.
  • The Arabic pages use a true right-to-left layout, so reading order, navigation and controls follow the direction of the text.
  • Images that carry meaning have text alternatives in both English and Arabic.
  • Our videos are decorative and contain no speech, so they need no captions. Any video that plays on its own can be paused.
  • If your device is set to reduce motion, the site follows that setting and replaces its animations with calmer alternatives.
  • You can enlarge text up to 200% with your browser’s zoom, and the layout still works on screens as narrow as 320 pixels.
  • Text and interface elements have enough colour contrast against their backgrounds to be read comfortably.

Adjusting the site to suit you

The site responds to settings you already use. To reduce animation, turn on the reduce-motion or remove-animations option in your device’s accessibility settings. To make text larger, use your browser’s zoom. Neither needs any setting on this website.

Known limitations

We know of two areas where the site does not fully meet our aim. We list them here so you can plan around them.

  • Embedded maps are provided and controlled by Google. We cannot change how they work with keyboards or screen readers. Every place shown on a map is also named in text on the same page, so you do not need the map to find it.
  • Some photographs carried over from our previous website are stock images. They illustrate a sector in general terms rather than showing our own sites. Each one is marked ‘Illustrative photograph’, and its description says only what the image shows.

Reporting a problem

If you find something on this site that you cannot use, or content you cannot reach, please email info@sebarysara.com. You can write in English or Arabic.

It helps us to know the following, though a short description is enough to start:

  • the address of the page, or its name
  • what you were trying to do and what went wrong
  • the device, browser and any assistive technology you were using

What happens next

A member of our team will read your message and reply by email. We will tell you whether we can fix the problem and what we plan to do about it.

If you need information from a page you could not use, ask for it in your message. We will send it to you by email in plain text.

Changes to this statement

When we improve the site or find a new limitation, we will update this statement and the date at the top of it.
